Here at little jiji, we work with small businesses to provide fabulous products for our customers while helping support abandoned girls in India.
About Us: little jiji is three sisters helping to carry out a brother’s call to action. Our brother has spent years living in India and as we learned about the issue of abandoned girls and the repercussions of female inequality plaguing India, we became passionate about finding a way to help. All being parents ourselves, we felt a sense of urgency and excitement at the thought of being able to do something to make a difference in at least one girl’s life. Based on geography alone, we’re a pretty diverse group of siblings. Danielle lives in Arizona, Cody in Oregon, Kim in New York, and Jessica in Spain!
Needless to say, our meetings may be a little unconventional (thank heavens for technology). We are so excited to not only be working together, but to be working on something we so strongly believe in. What does “little jiji” mean? jiji means “sister” in Hindi. How do you pronounce jiji? We are so honored by these beautiful women. They lead by example. Giving is just a part of who they are. They each have their own story. As we get to know these 3, we are learning how to be better people and business owners.
